Creating a Legacy

We are most enthusiastic to announce Legacy – anendowed fund to provide the resources necessary for our work to carry out God’s plan for DCA!
- The DCA Legacyendowed fund, as with all endowed funds, is a permanent fund and will provide annual income to the academy;
- The DCALegacy fund will grow with each contribution from a donor;
- Donor contributions make up the principle of the Legacy fund which is never spent;
- The earnings from the Legacyfund provide the resources needed to support DCA.
The dollars generated from the Legacy fund will help to provide financial assistance to students, ensure that we can attract and retain outstanding teachers, enhance the curriculum by providing needed resources, and support general operating expenses.
Legacy DCA Endowment
Enhance General Excellence Fund
Legacy gifts to the general excellence fund will provide the necessary resources to enhance DCA’s curriculum, increase the level of financial assistance to students, and support general operating expenses.
The Glenda Barnes Memorial Fund
This special Legacy fund has been established as a tribute to the life of the late Mrs. Glenda Barnes, a beloved DCA kindergarten teacher who exemplified the love of Christ to her students and their families. Children and adults alike were drawn to her. Just being around her made you want to be a better teacher, student, and person.
Her enthusiasm for life and learning filled her classroom every day. She made each child feel like the most important person in the world. They were her diamonds in the rough. In kindergarten, she taught them everything they would need to know to be successful in this life and introduced them to the ONE who would always love them and be with them throughout eternity.
After a fierce battle with cancer, Mrs. Barnes went to be with the Lord. The Glenda Barnes Memorial Fund will help to ensure that DCA continues to attract and retain excellent faculty by offering competitive compensation and benefits.
